Priest and Warrior: Class Overview and Latest Beta Changes
Checked: 2026-10-09 · Europe

Blizzard’s class overview, with the later Warrior changes distinguished from the original design summary.
Blizzard’s European English overview gives every Priest Fear Ward and Devouring Plague at 20, Divine Spirit at 30 and Shadow Word: Death at 32. Each race retains two unique Priest spells.
New options include Penance, Binding Heal, Prayer of Mending and Devouring Contagion. Dual Specialization unlocks at 40; the beta cap reported in the EU development notes is 30.
The Warrior overview describes incoming Rage unaffected by armour or absorbs, plus baseline Tactical Mastery and Victory Rush. Later beta notes revise some numbers and talent arrangements.
The Warrior addendum appeared on the EU forum on 2 October. It raises bonus Rage from critical strikes from 75% to 100%, removes Improved Cleave and Boundless Rage, and adds Lingering Rage, Furious Precision and Gore Drinker. Fury and Protection positions and prerequisites also change.
The site’s recorded client tables include the revised Warrior layout in Talents. The later EU forum update also describes fixes to Rage gained from taking damage; see the 8 October Beta update.
