Racial abilities and several talent trees change, raid buffs expand, and Paladin Salvation and Reckoning receive updates.

The October 15 notes were posted October 16 (UTC). They announce no higher level cap; the last announced cap remains 30.

Racial changes include 3% Skyborne Haste, 2% Human critical strike chance, 1% Orc critical strike chance, and 2% critical damage and healing for Tauren and Dwarves. Eureka becomes an eight-second buff and supports Power Word: Shield.

Mage gains Frost Blast and Arcane Wrath; Missile Barrage moves to row 1. Priest gains Dark Inspiration. Shaman restores Elemental Mastery at 31 points, moves Lava Burst to 21 and Earthbound to 16. Warlock replaces Malediction with Grim Reach.

Salvation becomes separate from Blessings; Revoke removes it. Reckoning stores four charges. Several class buffs become raid-wide, and Hunters can maintain both a fire and an ice trap.

Professions UI art and bear-form Faerie Fire threat receive fixes. Crafted-item vendor prices fall. Horde characters remain able to enter City of Dalaran dungeon, but the sewer-key quest no longer grants safe open-world city access. The full notes cover further class, quest, Legacy and interface changes.
