China Beta Opening: Level 20 in Week One and Account Restrictions
Checked: 2026-10-06 · China Beta
The October 5 announcement confirms China’s initial content, access delays and simultaneous-login restriction.
China Beta is scheduled for October 6–26 Beijing time, with October 26 as the last full testing day. The announcement gives no opening hour. Characters and progress will be wiped before launch.
Week one caps characters at 20, with a later increase to 30 on an unannounced date. Initial content includes Skyborne, Zephras Isle, Hall of Thanes (13–18), Ruins of Lordaeron (15–20) and zone content through level 20.
Only one WoW license under the same Battle.net account can log in at a time. Simultaneous logins may temporarily prevent access.
Epic Pack owners and official-event invitees qualify for testing; downloading the client alone does not grant access. Epic Pack access may take up to 30 minutes to activate and requires a launcher restart.
Select the China Forever client under Game Version and Account in Battle.net, or extract the packaged client from the official downloads page and use World of Warcraft Launcher.exe to open Battle.net and sign in.
The international Beta reached level 30 on October 1. China’s first week follows its own announcement; recorded client data does not establish what is open in China.
