China Beta Preload: October 6–26 Test with a Data Wipe
Checked: 2026-10-01 · China Beta
China’s official announcement confirms the end date, eligibility and download options.
China Beta runs October 6–26, 2026. Epic Pack owners and official-event invitees can join when testing opens. Preloading alone does not grant access.
Characters and game data will be deleted afterward, with no progress carried into launch.
Install Forever through the updated Battle.net app, or extract the packaged client from the official downloads page. The package still uses World of Warcraft Launcher.exe to open Battle.net and sign in.
Allow disk space; an SSD is recommended. Download size varies by version. Play begins October 6.
