Choose your starting settings and agree on a ruleset and faction with friends.
An active subscription or Game Time includes Forever. Install the release version through Battle.net. Controller support remains in beta.
Choose Classic or Enhanced before selecting a ruleset. Classic starts with SD models, quest-map guidance, one-bag and transmog disabled; Enhanced enables those features and uses HD models. Individual settings remain adjustable.
Normal, PvP, Roleplay and Roleplay-PvP launch together; Hardcore follows later. Groups, guilds and dungeon parties require the same ruleset and faction. Skyborne requires a Heroic Pack or higher upgrade.
Your complete two-part name must be unique in the region. Use L for the quest log, M for the map and P for the spellbook, and visit trainers as you level.
